✨ Collaging with the brilliant ✂️

Last week at , Jessica Tamar Deutsch—author and illustrator of The Lost Princess: An Illustrated Retelling of Rebbe Nachman’s Beloved Tale—led us through an incredible collage-and-illustration workshop inspired by her exhibit, on view through January.

Together, we stepped into her storybook world of The Lost Princess—a path through longing, loss, and return—and transformed paper scraps into new stories of imagination and renewal. 🕊️

Beyond the fun of cutting, pasting, and gluing, there’s a liberating kind of whimsy in the process itself—layering, looking, tweaking, playing—assembling fragments into something whole.

Two years have passed since the day everything changed — since our hearts cracked open and our sense of safety and belonging was forever altered.

As we grieve, we still reach for hope.
As we mourn, we hold one another.
Because that’s what we do — we gather, we weep, we pray, we rise.

🕯️ October 7th Prayer & Ritual Offering

Two years have passed since the world shattered — since our hearts cracked open and nothing felt whole again.

🙏 Performing a grief ritual is an incredibly nourishing practice — a way to honor memory, find comfort and connection, and transform loss into a sacred act of remembrance.

🕯️ In the face of chaos and a fractured world, lighting a candle becomes one small, powerful thing we can do: to process our grief, tend to our hearts, and hold one another through the dark.

Light your candle. Feel your pain. Share it with others.
You don’t have to hold it all yourself. We are only human, living through an unbearably human experience — and this kind of grief is too heavy to carry alone.

Open your heart, and let the Shechinah cradle what you cannot.
