1. Split Step Every Time: Take a small hop just as your opponent hits the ball to stay light on your feet
2. Aim for Depth, Not Power: Hit the ball 3 feet over the net; depth wins more points than raw speed.

3. Watch the Ball to the Strings: Don't look up to see where your shot is going until after you’ve made contact.

4. Hit Cross-Court: The net is lower in the middle and the court is longer diagonally—it’s the safest way to stay in the point.

5. Small Adjustment Steps: Use "big steps" to get to the ball and "tiny steps" to perfectly position your body before you swing.
