It was truly a pleasure to create this bouquet with sustainable materials and source all the bloom from local farms.

One of my favorite parts of my job is waking up and going into the New York City Flower Market at 4am with a cup of coffee and being a part of the incredible community on 28th street. We are so lucky to have such beautiful blooms and there is truly nothing like it.

I was honored to provide the bouquet of flowers that Their Majesties placed at the today.

It meant so much to our family getting to be a part of such a historic occasion due to not only Eric’s job as an FDNY Firefighter but also because we lost my father-in- law Gary to his 9/11 related illnesses this past Christmas. To be able to be a part of this meant not only everything to Eric and I but also to my mother in law Jane and the rest of the Howard family.

My father-in-law, Gary Howard, was among the many first responders who answered the call on September 11, 2001, and in the weeks that followed during rescue and recovery operations. We miss him every day.

Visits of this magnitude are meaningful acknowledgments of his sacrifice and the sacrifices of so many others.

Thank you to for including a stop at as part of your stateside travels and entrusting me with this important moment.
