There’s a lot more to than their covers. The is wild! Take this August, 1970 Playbill for at the (now the ). The back cover is one of the most egregious I’ve seen (so sexist that called for a boycott). This ad and others in the same campaign have been used for decades in academic papers about sexism in advertising. (Much more fun? A ad for that still smells of !)
