Just absolutely loving these incredibly rare borcarite crystals! If you’re a lover or rare minerals, look no further. Borcarite is a very rare calcium borate-carbonate mineral. This particular sample is from Charcas, Charcas Municipality, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

The area of borcarite measures 1.8 cm
Whole dimensions: 6.6 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm

The region is small, but the color is a beautiful blue with nice translucency.

The wait is over. This gorgeous calcite is now available. I’ve held on for about 2 years and honestly wouldn’t have minded retaining, but I know how many people are still looking for a sample with a nice rich color.

Perfect pink-purple calcite with pink hues
Large, long stepped cabinet specimen.
Authentic specimen from the Balmat-Edwards Zinc Mining District, New York
Size: 13.2 x 10.8 x 6.7 cm

The back is not complete. There are two areas with marked damage (not by my handling, but during extraction from the mine). If you do not want a specimen with any noted damage, please explore our other statement piece options. The overall grading and pricing is determined by color, size, rarity (this level is no longer producing) and overall completed faces.
