Airing of the Quilts - We want your quilts -
This tradition of airing out the quilts after a long winter is coming to New Milford on May 2 & 3. We will be celebrating 250 years of stitching our country together through threads and fabric.
The quilts will be on display at 3 locations on the New Milford Green.
Our goal is to have 250 quilts and other fabric handcrafts to display. There is no charge to display your quilt(s). There is no limit to how many you can display.

One of our circle friends, Debi Holley, is starting a pillowcase challenge for victims of Hurricane Harvey. Pillowcases are not only a good way to let people know we care, they also can serve as a suitcase for carrying belongings.

If you would like to help, you can make new pillowcases and mail them to TWUMC c/o CHSM, 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380. (This is The Woodlands United Methodist Church, Creative Hands Sewing Ministry that Debi runs through the church.) With so many people impacted by these terrible floods, I am sure that many, many pillowcases will be needed and appreciated!
