Big congrats to all of the winners of the 6th Annual Kid's Fishing Day! This year's event was definitely one of the best! Great high tide, warm but not miserable, cloudy but not rainy, and most importantly, lots of fish caught! Big thanks to everyone that supported us, we're looking forward to the next one!

6th Annual Kid's Fishing Day Event Information

▪️Registration Check-In Begins at 8:00am and will go until 9:00am.
▪️Shirts are first-come, first-serve on sizes
▪️At 9:15am, no-show spots will be given to 11 and under children on the wait list on a first-come, first-serve basis!

▪️Fishing will be from 9am-12pm. When you catch a fish, you can have a volunteer come over to measure. Take a picture of your fish on the measuring tape and message to Rusty Bucket FB page in messenger or text to 813-955-4380 WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME!
12 and Up Division will need to have their numbered tag in their photo. 11 and under will be using the “Honor System.”

🌟 ▪️ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL HAVE A YELLOW WRISTBAND AND NAMETAG ON.
▪️Volunteers will be walking around to assist with tying knots, baiting hooks, and dehooking fish. If you are not sure how to handle a species of fish, PLEASE ask a volunteer to help! Many species we will be catching have sharp teeth. DO NOT HANDLE ANY CATFISH, find a volunteer to assist!
▪️Buckets with shrimp will be located all along the seawall for your fishing needs! Help yourself! 🦐
▪️Feel free to bring camp chairs, personal coolers, etc!
▪️We will two areas with games set up and prizes to be won!
▪️We will have a Cast Net Competition- just look for the yellow ducks to participate!
▪️ Face-painting will be from 10-12 and is FREE for all children!
▪️Awards for both divisions will take place around 12:30pm🏆
▪️All children participating will receive a token for a free kid's combo. See more information on the flyer attached! FOOD WILL OPEN AT 11AM!
