Meet the bosses who run this house: Exhibit A (the tan one) — the reason we upgraded from one giant to two giants. These two sit here like they've just handed down the final verdict: "Because of ME, we got a second dog… and because of ME, we're NOT getting a third!" 😂 Their logic is flawless. One dog = manageable chaos. Two dogs = constant symphony of tail thumps, couch earthquakes, and "who stepped on whose paw?" arguments. Three? That would require a bigger house, a bigger fridge for all the food, and probably a full-time cleanup crew. When we brought him home from the shelter, he was just skin and bones, but those eyes… they held stories of silent suffering.
He wouldn’t let anyone touch him at first. Just sat quietly in the corner, paws tucked under, as if trying to disappear.
Days passed. Then one evening, I sat beside him without speaking. After a while, he reached out — just one paw — and rested it on my leg. That was the moment.
That was trust.
Now, he follows me everywhere. His giant paws always reaching for connection — a reminder that no matter how big he grows, he’ll always be that scared little pup who just wanted to be loved.
He didn’t just need a home — he needed someone to believe in him.
And I did.
And in return, he gave me everything.
