After a wonderful 5.5 years on Tulane’s campus, IN Exchange has closed its doors and is transitioning into a new model. While there will no longer be a retail location, you will be able to find us throughout the city at various pop-up stores, trunk shows and festivals. We will still remain as a non-profit organization with the same mission: 1) supporting local and global artists through the sale o

f fair trade products and 2) educating consumers about fair trade and local artists. The International New Orleans Exchange, Inc. (IN Exchange) vends the fairly traded artwork and crafts created by low-income artists and artisans from underserved backgrounds. IN Exchange seeks to connect disadvantaged producers living in New Orleans and economically developing countries with a broader buyer market by incorporating their art and crafts into a formal retail venue. Our enterprise pays fair and vital wages to artists for all works sold. The store space not only functions as a formal outlet for artists to vend their works, but also as a gallery that advances the awareness of local and global cultures, social entrepreneurship, and fair trade industries. Join the IN Exchange Facebook group to keep up-to-date on featured artists, new merchandise from around the world, events, and special promotions! Thanks! Team IN Exchange
