Market days are always sweeter with a little helper. 🤍🌸

Hazel has been very excited about the idea of making and selling her own things at the farmers market, so today she came armed with paper, crayons, and a plan. She sold a few of her original works of art, we offered some as a little gift-with-purchase, and naturally I kicked my junior entrepreneur back $1 for her artistic contributions. 😂

My assistant lasted a very enthusiastic hour and a half before deciding she was ready for her Dad to come pick her up — but we’ll call that a successful shift, I love seeing her get excited about creating, selling, and most of all feeling a sense of pride in what she’s made.

I was honestly surprised by how many of you were out and about today, and so grateful to everyone who stopped to see us! 💓 One of my favorite parts of market days is meeting new people, hearing your stories, and learning about the flowers you love — or the people you’re taking them home to. There’s something really special about that exchange.

And I’m continually reminded how much talent and heart exists right here in our little community.

A few special shoutouts today:

🤍 Ryan of , who designed and handcrafted the beautiful logo sign for my flower cart. She is truly beyond talented.

🤍 — another budding young entrepreneur I’ve loved watching grow up alongside her family at the market. Hazel adores her jewelry, and we both adore all the fruits and veggies her family brings along.

🤍 Brittany of , who does such a wonderful job supporting our community and keeping everyone connected to what’s happening locally.

- our market neighbors who have great honey; and exceptional skill for equally aggravating and entertaining my 6 year old. 😂

And so many more. 🌸

Thank you for showing up and choosing local — whether you buy flowers from us, vegetables from the farm down the row, jewelry from a young maker, or simply come out and say hello.

This is the stuff that makes small towns like ours so special. Thank you so much for another sold out Saturday. 🤍

No lies detected. 😂
Buy the flowers.
We’re all on borrowed time anyway, right? 💐

It’s National Farmers Market Week, and today felt like the perfect reminder of what makes our little market so special. 🌸

Families, friends, couples, familiar faces and new ones — all leaving with flowers in hand. Seeing the market so full of life this morning made my heart especially happy.

Every bouquet you take home, every vendor you stop to visit, every post you share, every friend you bring along, and every Saturday morning you choose to spend with us helps keep small farms, makers, and local businesses growing.

There are so many ways you all show up for us week after week, and I hope you know how much it means.

Thank you for shopping small. Thank you for supporting local. Thank you for making our farmers market a place people want to gather. And thank you, always, for letting my flowers be a little part of your lives. 🤍🌿

Happy National Farmers Market Week — and what a beautiful, busy Saturday to celebrate it. 💐

Earlier this spring, we invited the sweetest couple out to the farm after they won our bridal bouquet + engagement shoot giveaway. 🤍

An afternoon wandering through the garden and fields, flowers in hand, celebrating a love that gets to become a marriage next year.

There are days in this work that bring me right back to why I chose it.

Growing the flowers is beautiful. Designing with them is beautiful. But getting to place something I’ve grown and created into the hands of someone in love — and knowing these flowers become a tiny part of their story — is something I’ll never take for granted.

So grateful for the couples who trust me with these moments, and especially the ones who trust me with their wedding days.

What a beautiful thing, to grow flowers for love. 🤍

Sometimes you don’t find the arrangement…

You find yourself making a different one.

I spent hours trying to force my original vision, only to scrap it and start over the next morning. Funny how the right design came together the moment I stopped trying to make the first one work.

Maybe creativity is less about holding on—and more about recognizing when it’s time to begin again. 🌿

Somehow another market week has already come and gone. 🌿

Life has been especially full lately, so I’m just now getting around to sharing a few moments from last Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand, brought home flowers, shared kind words, or simply took a moment to chat. Those conversations are one of my favorite parts of market mornings. 🥰

If you’re looking for something beautiful to brighten your weekend, I’ll be back at the Albemarle Farmers Market tomorrow morning with fresh bouquets, seasonal stems, and whatever else the field decides to surprise us with.
