Dear Pokemon collectors,
I have received multiple questions from different
collectors regarding fake card advise! So I’ve decided to make this post to help recognize these differences!

Picture One:
The XY Generation rainbow fakes.
The right cards being the fake!
Its very easy to notice the rainbow streak in the middle and these cards are typically more dark than the normal ones with a wacky border.

Picture Two:
The custom Golds!
A lot of people mistaken these for real Gold cards. They are not and they are cheap! I’ve seen many people try to sell these for hundreds of dollars!
These cards are $15-$20 on amazon for a whole pack.

Picture Three:
The Bright Yellow Vintage Borders
These Cards typically are very bright yellow and the centers are very light. (the right card)
The real cards are actually darker.( the left card)

These are just a few common examples.
Please make sure you know what the cards really look like before you buy them! I’d hate to see more people want real cards just to end up receiving fakes!
