Sorry that I’ve been absent from here for awhile. But with not great news I’ve found out I have a very rare auto- immune disease known as Sarcoidosis granulomas, in my hillar lymph nodes around and in my lungs and Neurosarcoidosis granuloma on my spinal cord at the T3-T4 region. Things are up in the air and unknown till I can get a grip on this issue.

Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that affects multiple organs in the body, but mostly the lungs and lymph glands. In people with sarcoidosis, abnormal masses or nodules (called granulomas) consisting of inflamed tissues form in certain organs of the body. These granulomas may alter the normal structure and possibly the function of the affected organ(s).

The last of the current orders are done. Whew, this has been a long couple of months due to day job overtime and knife orders on top of it. Bushcraft knife for a previous coworker, fero rod and custom sheath.

The Kirpan is done 1 week before deadline.

The Kirpan is done. 80CVR2, 33” blade, custom lions head handle, 3 piece wood scabbard with Swarvoski crystals. Names for the wedding couple electro etched into the blade.

Sunday update. The Kirpan handle is done. Started life as a 19th Century artifact in p**s poor condition. And at one point was in 4 diffrent pieces. After an extensive rebuild/modification it was brought back to life.

Serbian Chef’s knife completed today. 80CVR2 high carbon steel. Rockwell 58, forged hammer mark/texture upper part of blade, mirror polished lower blade, spalted burl and resin hybrid scales with mosaic Shamrock pins.

By the time I’m done hand sanding this, I’ll be able to arm curl 150lbs.
