What a beautiful day for a Total Solar Eclipse, and we are so lucky to be in 4 minutes of totality!

Only $7 Indiana residents, $9 for out-of-state visitors.

License plates, so far, are from Indiana, Wisconsin, California, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maine, Kentucky, Iowa, Michigan, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, New Jersey, Alaska, North Dakota, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, and Canada!

This is long overdue! I wish to inform all of you that back in December I sold the bait shop. It will now be known as the Summit Lake Market. I want to thank all of you for the last 6 years. I still have lots of tackle and I am going to have a sale sometime somewhere this summer. So stay tuned. I hope you will give the new owners a chance to earn your business. They are great people and have big exciting plans for the shop!

I will be open and fully stocked with live bait for the weekend! Then after that I’m planning on trying to be open most evenings and weekends for the summer.

It’s with a broken heart I need to inform you all that on April 4 I lost the love of life, my wife Cris. She was the one who kept the shop open and running. One of her joys in life was the customers and meeting new people.
