🌸 **A Call to Help a Mom and Daughter in Need** 🌸
As many of you know, about three years ago my wife and I started **The Henry County Women’s Recovery Center**. I work behind the scenes and serve on the board, while my wife and a few incredible women run the day-to-day operations.
Our center began by supporting women dealing with **substance abuse, emotional trauma, and abuse**. This spring, we launched a **teen program** to reach younger members of our community—and it filled up quickly!
The cost of these programs can be high, but most participants cannot afford it. We rely on generous donors, and when needed, every woman and teen who wants help can go through the program paid or unpaid. **we never turn anyone away**
Right now, we have a **special need**. A mom and her daughter are in an unhealthy living situation, and we’re helping them move into a safe, independent home. We’ve found a place for them, but we need help covering:
* Security deposit and half of the first month’s rent
* Stocking their refrigerator and freezer to give them a little breathing room
Our goal is to raise **$1,500**, and any support—big or small—makes a difference.
