Day 33

This beautiful spread was inspired by the Queen herself. As I layered each piece together, I found myself listening to the book of Job and reflecting on loss, faith, and God's unwavering presence through every season.

Creating has always been a form of peace for me, and this page became a reminder that even in life's hardest moments, beauty can still emerge.

What do you think of today's spread? I'd love to hear what stands out to you.

Trying something completely different today...

This is my very first landscape sticker collage, and I have to admit... I was a little intimidated! But creativity grows when we step outside our comfort zones.
I'm pretty proud of how this little world came together.

Now it's your turn... Rate it from 1-10. What's your favorite detail? Should I create more landscapes?

I read every comment, and I'd love to hear what you think!

I walked into the Plains Indian Museum thinking I'd admire the history... and then I found myself completely captivated by the quilts.

Seeing the beautiful Lone Star quilts and the incredible craftsmanship up close was such a reminder that quilting tells stories just as much as words do. Every stitch, every fabric choice, and every pattern carries tradition, artistry, and the hands of the person who created it.

As a quilter, moments like these fill my creative cup. It's inspiring to see how textiles have connected generations and cultures, and I left with so many ideas swirling around in my head.

If you're ever visiting Cody, Wyoming, don't skip the Plains Indian Museum at the . Whether you're a history lover, an artist, or a quilter, there's something truly special waiting for you.

I wasn't expecting to spend so much time in the art galleries... but wow.

We had the chance to visit the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming, and these pieces completely stopped me in my tracks. The talent, the stories, the textures—you could stand in front of some of these paintings forever and still notice something new.

I may have taken way too many photos, but I couldn't help myself. If you're ever in Cody, this museum is absolutely worth adding to your list. Even if you don't consider yourself an "art museum person," I think you'll be surprised.

Which piece is your favorite? I'd love to know what catches your eye!

Look at what I bought at fleet farm! A quilting magazine. Being from Virginia we don't have this store but it's like Rural King meets Walmart - A little bit of everything!

Meet Dignity in Chamberlain, South Dakota—a breathtaking 50-foot-tall stainless steel sculpture honoring the courage, strength, and wisdom of the Lakota and Dakota people. Made from more than 100 blue diamond-shaped stainless steel pieces, her star quilt sparkles and changes with the light, making every view a little different.

She overlooks the Missouri River, and trust me... photos don't do her justice.

Have you seen her in person, or is she officially going on your travel bucket list?
