Just some helpful tips for our visitors:
1. Have a great time and enjoy your family--take many photos....who can have too many photos, right?
2. Dress like you're coming to a farm. When it's wet, the fields are wet and sometimes a bit muddy! Wet feet and cold hands are not a recipe for a happy experience.
3. We provide twine to secure your Christmas tree to your vehicle....if you have ratchet straps or long bungee cords, consider bringing them. If you tie knots like me, you'll feel much better about your travels with the straps or bungee.
4. Bring a blanket if you intend to place the Christmas tree on the roof of your car. I mean, it's a tree....a soft tree, but it can still mark up your clearcoat.
5. Be aware of how high your ceilings are---we get fun feedback from families trying to get their 9 foot tree into their 8 foot tall room
6. We do provide bow saws for your use. We can't allow any chainsaws in the fields---gas or electric.
7. We are a cash or check business, we do not have electricity. Although we are just a few miles south of the airport, cell service is "spotty", at best.
8. Ask us anything. We have friends who have been coming to visit us for many years who say "hello, see you in 30 minutes"---they know exactly what they like and how to identify their tree. If your a first timer, or new to our farm, seek some assistance--our family is here to help yours!
Friends, give us some of your helpful tips! I'll be monitoring this post this evening if you have any questions. Tomorrow, I'll be back at the farm! Have wonderful night!
