Founded in 1905, Fuller’s Music has provided students and musical enthusiasts from all over Eastern North Carolina, quality musical instruments and great customer service for over a century. In 2001, we truly became a regional music superstore when we moved from our former downtown New Bern location, into our brand new state-of-the-art showroom at 2310 Trent Road.

A big thank you to Sean Ohmann, the new Band Director at Topsail Middle School in Hampstead, NC, for visiting the Fuller's Music facility in New Bern today!

It was a pleasure giving you a tour of our operations and sharing how we're committed to supporting music educators and students throughout Eastern North Carolina. It was especially great to take you to the building where it all started in 1905, just off Middle Street in historic Downtown New Bern, and share a little of the rich history that continues to shape who we are today.

We're excited to partner with you and the Topsail Middle School band program as you begin this new chapter. Welcome to the Fuller's Music family, Sean! We look forward to serving you and your students for many years to come!

We are so blessed to have these Leesville Road area directors visit the Fuller’s music facilities today! Thank you Cara DeFrank Vernon Cristina Rekeibe, Cat Slade and Josh Cvijanovic. We enjoyed letting you meet our team! Glad we got to go to downtown New Bern to see the original Fullers’s music building. Bonus having fun at pharmacist Caleb Bradham's original drugstore, where Pepsi-Cola was born!

📢 Fuller’s Music is thrilled to announce that Jorge Benitez will be joining our music education team on June 1st, 2026! Jorge is retiring after an illustrious 32-year career as the Director of Bands at Havelock High School.  He is respected at the highest levels by his peers, parents, and students. He is a gifted director with organizational and leadership skills that are complimented by his incredible focus and drive.

Jorge’s skillset and personality will be a great fit for his new role serving directors, students, and schools.  Please help us welcome Jorge, his lovely wife Lyn, two daughters Analise and Mariela, and son Braedon, to the Fuller’s Family.  We have had a wonderful relationship with the Benitez family for over 3 decades and we see a bright future ahead!  We are so excited to see Jorge in his new position as he continues to serve others with the joy of music.
