I’m happy to share this lovely post from my friends up the street.

After 25 incredible years on Broad Street, The Earth Store is turning the page to a new chapter under new ownership (and a new location just up Broad in the New York Hotel Building). As neighbors and kindred spirits in our magical little town, we at Spirithouse want to honor the legacy they've cultivated — one of curiosity, and connection to the natural world.

Their shelves have offered wonder, and their presence has grounded Nevada City in something so very special.

To its longtime steward Leea Davis: thank you for your devotion, your vision, and the decades of earthy magic you’ve shared with all of us. You've left a beautiful footprint.

To the new caretakers: welcome. May your journey be joyful, your shelves abundant, and your spirit bold. We’re so glad you’re here.
