Hello everyone,
After an exciting and long regular season and playoffs, we have made it to the Super Bowl. Only two teams are left standing: two big pre-season longshots like the big game has never seen before ;the Patriots and the Seahawks. Both of these teams have a history of playing against each other, as New England beat Seattle 28-24 in an iconic Super Bowl XLIX win that ended with Malcolm Butler’s game-saving interception. The Seahawks, led by Sam Darnold, Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and a shutdown defense, look to get revenge for that difficult loss. Darnold has continued reviving his career, building on an impressive year with Minnesota last season by playing great for the Seahawks, helping to lead an explosive offensive attack. The Seahawks also have a star-studded defense that has been locking down opposing offenses all year. The Patriots are led by MVP finalist Drake Maye, who had a truly amazing second season, leading the league in completion percentage. He can throw the ball accurately on all three levels, and is a great athlete who is capable of making plays with his strong arm and his legs. Coach Mike Vrabel turned this team around, leading them from back to back 4-win seasons to the Super Bowl, rebuilding the winning culture. The Patriots’ defense is also stifling, shutting down opposing offenses all season. Hello everyone,
Happy Thanksgiving! It’s a time to be grateful for all that we have, and to enjoy family, fun, and football! This Thanksgiving, there are 3 great football games. First the Packers travel to Detroit to play the Lions, a long and serious rivalry ,then the Chiefs and Cowboys face off in a matchup that has big playoff implications for both teams. Finally, the Bengals and Ravens play each other in an AFC North showdown. Try to guess who wins each of these games, and which quarterback has the most passing yards and touchdowns on the day. Hello everybody! After a long, entertaining NBA season filled with many twists and turns, we will finally see an NBA champion be crowned as we are set for the NBA Finals! This time, we will either see the Pacers win their first NBA Finals in franchise history or the Thunder win their first Finals since the Seattle Supersonics became the Thunder and moved to Oklahoma City. The Indiana Pacers are led by their point guard and the engine of their offense, Tyrese Halliburton. He is a clutch scorer and one of the best passers, if not the best, in the NBA. The Pacers also have Pascal Siakam, a player with championship experience as he won a ring in Toronto, who is also an excellent scorer who shows up in the clutch. The Pacers have a strong, high-scoring offense that thrives on playing at a quick speed that catches the defense off-guard. The Oklahoma City Thunder are led by the reigning NBA MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who averaged 32 points per game this season. He is a superstar and one of the best players in the league. The Thunder are a well-balanced team that also gets major contributions from Jalen Williams, a wing who is a versatile scorer and a good defender, and Chet Holmgren, a 7-foot big man who is an excellent shot blocker and rim protector who can also shoot the ball well. The Thunder lean heavily on their historically great defense, which has been frustrating opponents all season long. For the NBA Finals, try to predict which team wins, how many games it takes them to win, who wins Finals MVP, and the score of the final game.
