Heavy shopping this week from Upton House Antiques in Littleton MA to two additional trips to the Madison-Bouckville antiques show on Rte 20, NYS.
We acquired over 35 pieces. I'll be open tomorrow morning, Friday August 14th to price and prepare these items for display.

We worked up a busy week of smalls. It began in Essex CT at Old Beautiful art and antiques. Small baskets and boxes. Thursday we went to Oneonta NY for a private tour of a friends property and antiques collection. Another grouping of Native baskets and painted boxes.
Today we went to the Madison-Bouckville, NY antiques show. Here i found some stoneware and smalls.
Due to the time it takes to process a post this size, I was not able to price or research. So, I'll be pricing tomorrow and Monday.

Limited shopping so far this week due to our heavy rain event that made national news. We were part of the bullseye and received around 9-10" of rain in its duration. Being on a hill in the town of Nassau, only our cellar flooded. We're good and the shop had no problems.
Shop appointments and Dr's appointments are also keeping us back.
I'll likely be here almost all day, at least from
8-2. If you plan on being in the area, call to see what happens.
Today I have mostly shop shots. I'll be marking many items on sale and am already looking ahead to slimming my inventory for the fall and winter.

I attended a birthday event at a friend's house yesterday. Posting this week's picks was not an option. I've picked out a few items to show for a hasty posting.
We shopped in Chichester NH and nearby Rookwood. We found some things locally.

Tough weather kept us more local today. Watching the weather map, we went to Oneonta where I found some smalls.

I am opening the Red Shed tomorrow morning, Friday the 17th...9:00-12:30.
I'll also open the normal days, Sunday and Monday 9-5.
I added a few things to the shed. We visited shops in Chester and Bellows Falls VT, Westmoreland NH... locally from New Scotland, Duanesburg, Schoharie and Catskill NY.

We shopped local and out of town. We visited Upton House in Littleton MA, Sturbridge Mass, Essex CT, Woodbury and elsewhere in CT. this week.
I'll be at the Red Shed tomorrow, July 12th and Monday the 13th 9-5. We are packed!

We bought and sold locally this morning. We then shopped in Madison NY and cut cross-country to Oneonta NY. Timothy Northup at his shop, Northup Galleries showed me a collection of paintings by a little known local lady artist. The paintings were uncirculated, some unframed, all in a family member's home. I acquired four. Country motifs. There is still life and landscapes, and more still available.
I'll work on pricing tomorrow.

I'll be open tomorrow, July 4th and the 5th and 6th. Tentatively 9-5.
I'm offering sales and as always, discounts.
