She’s done! This squishy, chunky, goodness is finally done and I love it! Now it’s time for testing🎉
You’ll need super bulky yarn and size 13 and size 10 needles. The size large used ~410 yards. There will be sized XS-3XL and you’ll need between 350 and 600 yards of yarn (testers will be asked to track their yardage to improve these estimates)! You’ll have 5 weeks to complete the test. If you’re hoping to test comment below or shoot me a message!

I’m working on writing up a pattern for this sweater. It was a super easy construction and I think it would be a nice intermediate pattern. I’d love to hear your name suggestions!
Yarn is Uru Yarn Chonk in the colorway Porcelain!

I am really loving how this super bulky sweater is working up. Unfortunately I ran out of yarn ☹️ but I already have more on its way in the mail so luckily I don’t have to wait too long!
I’ve been itching to make another sweater, but I’m just not feeling teeny tiny yarn lately. I was so excited to see this super bulky goodness in the October KnitCrate box. I was so excited to get cracking on a sweater!

Worked up this little baby beanie just to play around with cables! It was a quick and fun little project on a rainy day. I also wound up those natural dye skeins! Not sure what to knit with them... any ideas?
Also, the Mysa Beanie is just about done being tested, so look forward to it being published this Monday! As usual, it will be on sale for the first 24 hours!
Yarn is September box in the chill out shade!

More natural dyeing adventures over here! 🌻🌼 I showed a photo of these skeins wet yesterday, but here they are dry! I really love how both skeins came out and I LOVE that they’re naturally dyed. It’s so cool to see what plants can do. And the yarn smells like camomile tea 😍
Here’s my process: soak yarn in warm water with 2 tbsp of alum per 2 oz of yarn for 30 minutes. While that’s soaking, bring a pot of water to a simmer and add in equal parts marigolds to the weight of your fiber. Let simmer for 30 minutes then lower heat to low. Remove yarn from alum bath and place in dye bath. Let sit for 30-60 minutes. That’s it!
Photo 2 is with primarily red marigolds which made a nice greenish yellow color! It also has some tonal sections which I’m surprised by. Photo 3 is primarily yellow marigolds which came out more light & mustardy!

Say hello to the Myna Beanie! I love it so much, I know I say it every time but this is my personal favorite pattern! It’s that simple and classic style I wanted every winter. This beanie officially has a pattern written up and is ready for testers!!
I simplified my sizes this go around, I need testers for: newborn, toddler, child, teen, adult small, and adult large. You’ll need size 4 needles and DK weight yarn. My adult small beanie used about 200 yards! Pom Pom is optional, open to testers of all experience levels! Comment below or shoot me a message!!

I looked at my page the other day and realized I haven’t made a beanie in a LONG time. Like since last winter, which is crazy because beanies have always been my go-to project. So suffice to say, I grabbed some yarn and knit this guy up. I can’t wait to wear it all winter long ❄️This is my style of beanie. Double brim, simple crown shaping, heathered yarn, no Pom Pom. My style has always been a little more plain/neutral. Going against that, my Pom Pom order this year is all exciting colors! Pinks, purples, champagnes.... can’t wait to try and incorporate more color into my page 🤗

It’s starting to kinda look like something!! I haven’t had the time to really knit much because I was studying for my occupational therapy licensure exam... and I passed! So now I have time to really get this sweater moving 😁I’m also writing up the pattern for that green sweater (last post), if you’re interested in testing it comment or shoot me a message! You’ll need fi*****ng weight yarn and 5 weeks to finish it. My sweater used ~1400 yds of fi*****ng weight yarn for a size large!

As I chip away at studying, and that ribbed sweater in my free time, I’m so focused on fall and how symbolic this season is!Everything changes, leaves fall, the air cools, colors change, school begins... big changes from summer, but we welcome them. Ive been reading a lot about lessons in the seasons and being present and open to learning. Fall is my favorite season, and I can’t wait to see what it has for me this year.Growth, change, and opportunity await... And so does this sweater which I can’t wait to pair with my big leather bag and some cute jeans!!
PS - do we want a pattern for this very simple cropped sweater? Let me know!
