Update- Contrary to any other reports - RV is safely at home. Ross and his daughter Addison are doing their best to make sure he’s comfortable and safe.

RV went through a terrible summer spending almost 3 months in either the hospital or a nursing home. He is on the mend and it will take time, love and support for him to get back to some sort of normal.

Anyone who wants to talk or see him is always welcome to the house. Given his current medical issues he’s home ALL THE TIME! I know he would love to see friendly faces. Thank you so much to those who have reached out with support.

Happy holidays! RV is slowly but surely recovering from total knee replacement on both knees this past fall. Hopefully he’ll be back in the shop by spring. At least a few hours anyway.

RV and Ross’ beloved dog Marley passed away last week. Anyone who knows RV, knows he needs a sweet doggie in his life. We are looking for a new canine member of the family. Thinking we need a pup that doesn’t shed, easier for RV to clean. Searching for a Goldendoodle, Mini Bernadoodle, Labradoodle, Portuguese water dog, or maybe the hard to find Newfiedoodle. If anyone has a connection for a reasonable adoption please let us know!

RV's mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Volbrecht passed away peacefully at 95 years strong, on Saturday, February 18th.

Betty or “Ma,” as RV liked to call her, was the original and fiercest of the Volbrecht guitar patrons and always Ron’s biggest fan. The next time you strum a few chords on one of his beautiful instruments, thank an amazing woman for being ahead of her time, demanding that a little boy practice his violin just as many hours as he kicked a football. Thank you for believing in the music Ma……Rock On Betty!

Look what I found when digging around this morning...RV's foot was pretty amazing once upon a time.

The foot that saved the Huskies? owned by Ron Volbrecht was a major attraction in the University of Washington dressing room after the 35-35 tie with Rice.
