Hey Matt Dinniman fans!🔥

The newest installment in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series is officially back in stock - but fair warning, these books disappear from the shelves almost as fast as we can unpack them. 😅

If you’ve been waiting to grab a copy, now’s your chance! And trust us… once you get home, make sure you take that dust jacket off and see what’s hiding underneath. 👀 In fact, look underneath all your DCC hardcovers 😆

Have you checked out the June Book Club pick yet? ✨

This month, we’ll be reading The Road to Tender Hearts by Annie Hartnett.

A darkly funny and heartfelt novel about a struggling lottery winner who sets out on a cross-country road trip to reconnect with his high school sweetheart. Joined by his adult daughter, two newly orphaned children, and a cat that seems to predict death, the journey becomes an unexpected story of grief, redemption, and second chances.

Join us this Saturday as William Edmund Fahey discusses New Hampshire and Independence: Rediscovered Writings from the Sons of the American Revolution.

Through six powerful essays drawn from the archives of the Sons of the American Revolution, Fahey highlights the state’s early defiance of British authority, its bold seizure of military supplies, its large contribution of troops to key battles like Bunker Hill, and its early declaration of independence and constitution. This richly researched volume brings to life the courage, leadership, and enduring impact of New Hampshire’s patriots in forging the nation.

William Edmund Fahey, PhD, is a Fellow and the president of Thomas More College of Liberal Arts. He was educated in the United States and Scotland and has pursued advanced studies in ancient and early modern military history. Fahey is an active member of several lineage organizations dedicated to the support of the study of early America, including the Sons of the American Revolution, the Society of Cincinnati, and the Order of the Descendants of Loyalists and Patriots. In 2024, he was appointed the historian of the New Hampshire Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.

What an incredible community effort! ✨

On April 13, Nashua Community Arts and Spectacle Live welcomed first graders from all twelve Nashua elementary schools to the Nashua Center for the Arts for a live performance of Click, Clack, Moo - made possible through donations to the Arts Ball Fund-a-Need. 🎭

We were so proud to partner with Bank of America, Casey Holt, Nashua PAL, and St. Mary’s Bank to help provide copies of the book to every first-grade student, each school library, and the Nashua Public Library. 💛

Experiences like these help foster literacy, creativity, and a lifelong love of books and the arts - and we’re honored to have been part of it.

It’s Staff Pick Sunday ✨
This week’s pick comes from Jan, and she’s chosen - The Great Houses of Pill Hill by Diane Josefowicz.

“Meet "Cookie” Cooke, art school grad who has settled for running her own interior design business and building crime dioramas on the side. I just love her character, witty yet with a great deal of psychological depth. Set in NH! -Jan

If Jan's recommendation piques your interest, be sure to pick up a copy either in-store or online! https://balinbooks.com/book/9781641298087
