Looks like i have some good news. The part to fix the heater should be in Monday morning, there is a good chance we will have heat sometime Monday late afternoon. The bad news is , its still pretty cold in here, my advice especially later in day this weekend is to call ahead and make sure i'm still here. I'm hoping to not close early either sat or sun, but storm may play a role in that.
Today 1/30 we will be closing up around 5, my fingers are already numb. Stay safe everyone, and warm. John

Hey Folks, As I mentioned recently we have not had working
heat since mid December, we have learned that while not comfortable
we can work most of a day if the outside temp is above 25. Unfortunately
This weekend is shaping up to be most frigid, therefore I have made the
difficult decision to close both Saturday ( 24th ) and Sunday ( 25th ).
We will be open Friday and Monday normal hours. Sorry for any inconvenience,
but unless Joyce Cooling and Heating comes up with the part we need by Friday,
I have no choice.

Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all had a safe and fun time. I have some news about the stores heater. Apparently it developed a leak in the heater core that transfers temps. Joyce has ordered a replacement unit, but isn't sure when it will come in. Until then we are working with space heaters, that dont really keep up. We have found that for the first few hours, we can get work done, but fingers start to stiffen up after about 3 hours. We will continue to be open, but depending on how cold it gets, we may close up around sunset. I will keep you posted as to when core may get replaced. Wishing you all the New Year you hope for. I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and that Santa was very generous. Just in case he didn't bring you what you desired, we are having our after Christmas sale Friday and Saturday. I will be starting to purge subscription folders the 2nd week in January, so let me know if you want to continue, if its been more than 2 months.

Good Day, just a reminder that today is the last sale before Christmas, our annual stocking stuffer sale. If it fits in stocking its 20% off. For those of you wondering about this past weeks DC's they showed up today. Will be putting them out for sale on Wednesday. This years after Christmas sale

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Yes we will be having a Black Friday sale this year. We will also be having our stocking stuffer sale the weekend before Christmas, as well as a sale after Christmas.
Black Friday will see Gundam, Warhammer, Board Games, Joy Toy, Pop figures, trade paperbacks, Graphic Novels ( includes hardcovers ), Role Playing Games and tabletop miniature games. Discounts will range from 10-30%. We shall also have special pricing on Warhammer Skaventide.

Hello, I know it's been a bit since my last post, lotta stuff
going on. Today I want to share good news. As promised,
I made my last payment on the loan for the windows, so as
of today the Trade/Graphic novel 20% discount is back, everyday.
This includes, new and old, trades, graphic novels, soft covers, Hard
covers, omnibuses, and even special orders.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. This weeks Marvels and indies should be in at some point Friday, hoping sooner rather than later. Speaking of Friday, our annual after Christmas sale starts on Friday and continues thru Saturday. This year we are doing everything except comics at least 20% off. Next year after I get some time to stock back issues they will wind up in sale rotation again.

Apparently i was wrong about Diamond having fixed the delivery problems, this weeks books ( other than DC, which we have now ) won't hit the shelves until friday just after noon. The upcoming holiday schedule looks like, December 21st and 22nd is our annual
stocking stuffer sale, if it fits in the stocking it is 20% off ( items can't be folded or otherwise mutilated ). Tuesday Dec 24th we will be open 12-3 for any last minute items you may need, Dec 25th we are closed ( Merry Christmas ). Opening again on Friday Dec 27th for the start of our after Christmas sale running the 27th and 28th. New books should also be out on the 27th. The following week we will be open mostly our regular schedule, with the exception of New Years day, we will be open 12-5.
