Sitting here reflecting on the woman in the mirror, still marveling at how she made it here. The journey has been both physical and psychological, a relentless uphill battle at times. In the beginning, the pursuit was simply to reach milestones: Alina’s second birthday, having another baby, a five-year remission, welcoming a new baby, embracing the beauty of motherhood, continuing to build companies and brands with passion, and holding close the family, friendships, and relationships cultivated over a lifetime.

The shift from being reactive to proactive about my health has required an entirely new mindset. Staying ahead of it all is no small task, and there are still many areas where I know I can improve. But now more than ever, I am determined to work alongside teams of doctors who are committed to advancing my health and going beyond the traditional standard of care. Because I deserve it. We all deserve it. And we pay for it.

Our healthcare system is broken in many ways, and that reality can feel deeply frustrating. Which is why I encourage everyone to be their own advocate. Lean into your instincts. Do your due diligence. Find the doctors who align with your standards of excellence, and never stop advocating for your health.

If my journey encourages even one person to advocate harder for their own health, then I have done my job.

So freakin’ proud of my favorite and kids!!! The 132nd Varsity Show was an incredibly witty and highly engaging performance. Once On A Blue Moon that was written, directed, produced, created and performed by Columbia University’s top talent! Congratulations to Gaia and Kaia and the entire cast for killing it on stage! And Alina P. .pucci for the creative direction behind the scenes! I am one proud Mamma! And I love you all to death!!!
Columbia has graduated some uber successful directors, producers, actors and creatives from this program! Greta Gerwig you need to check this out!

We started our Hoosier weekend flying to Chicago and driving to Notre Dame. I mean could there have been no other way to hit Indiana than with Niccolò’s first college tour on HERE? As we turned left onto campus a Jeep pulled in front of us, Fighting Irish Baby! I knew you would not miss this! You wanted him to see this school from the minute he was born. I kept thinking about how much you would have loved that moment. The shock on my face. The tears in my eyes. While I cracked a smile. You always said that Notre Dame wasn’t just about football. It was about tradition. I grew up sitting on your lap watching the games with Uncle Leo. Watching Niccolò stand there, it finally made sense.
Everywhere we went, you were right there with us. Our roadtrip South took almost three hours through farm country. In every conversation about the Celtics, playoff games, JB, JT, Bird, the Pats draft pick, the Sox, in every laugh and every story we’ve told a hundred times but still needed to tell again, we felt you.
You would be so proud of Niccolò, the way he’s performing, playing with intensity and passion, he has the same love for the game that you instilled in him. He is your prodigy and carries your spirit in the best way.
You were with us on the court and every curve, not quiet nor distant but in a real way, like you never left our side. And when you drove past us in your blue PT Cruiser…well…if you know you know.

Thanks for the roadtrip, Frankie.
