I lost my mother to a very rare Breast Cancer on 11/24/10 & my world was turned upside down. I came across the color duct tape in May 2011 while trying to spend "store cash" & fell in love. When I decided to start this page (on 6/13/11) & sell my creations I wanted to use ALL my proceecds to get a Memorial Bench by the beach in my mothers honor at Lowdermilk Park in Naples, Fl. I reached my goal i

n late August/early September & her bench was installed on 10/26/11, almost 1 month before her 1 year anniversary. After I reached my goal I decided to start a Non-Profit Foundation, Present from Patty (Facebook.com/PresentfromPatty), in my mothers honor, aimed to help lower income cancer patients with their everyday living expenses. Since I started this Ive had 2 WINK News segments done on me, Ive had a full page feature story on me in PULSE Magazines Art Edition, Ive won 1st pace in Platypus Designer Duct Tapes Pirate Contest, my daughter won 1st place in the "Boo in the Zoo" costume contest for her Shirley Temple Duct Tape dress I made her for halloween, raised over $550 in a Charity Auction (with the help of all of you) which is going directly to Cancer Patients fighting for their life, ive been able to help people all over the world & best of all ive been an inspiration to a lot of young artists. I must say accomplised a lot in 9 months & I cant wait to see what the future has in store for me :-)
