IMPORTANT NEWS - The Art Council of Southwest Florida is pleased to announce the appointment of Judy Teevenas its new First Vice President.

An artist, designer, entrepreneur, and lifelong creator, Judy brings more than 35 years of experience in design and product development. Her career has spanned industries ranging from couture bridal fashion and luxury home furnishings to innovative consumer products, always guided by a passion for creativity and innovation.

Today, Judy focuses her artistic practice on nature-inspired works, including her proprietary Nature Canvas™ creations, dimensional photographic art, Ikebana-inspired floral sculptures, and mixed-media pieces that blend nature, design, and fine art. Her philosophy of "Creating Beyond the Lines," Judy believes that art has the power to connect, inspire, and enrich communities.

In addition to her artistic achievements, Judy has dedicated significant time to nonprofit service through organizations including the PACE Center for Girls, STARability Foundation, and Products of Purpose in Bolivia. Through mentoring, design education, and entrepreneurial training, she has helped individuals discover their talents and create new opportunities for personal growth.

"We are excited to welcome Judy to our leadership team," said Resa Abbey, President of the Art Council of Southwest Florida. "Her creativity, business experience, and commitment to community service will be invaluable as we continue to advance our mission and support the arts throughout Southwest Florida."

As First Vice President, Judy will help guide the organization's strategic initiatives, artist programs, educational outreach, and the continued growth of the COCO Art Gallery.
