Jason Randall and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary tonight with dinner at Traverso's Restaurant - Naperville.

Good food, good conversation, and a chance to slow down and celebrate eight years together.

We're fortunate to have so many great locally owned restaurants in our community, and it was a wonderful place to spend the evening.

Here's to eight years of marriage and many more memories to come. ❤️

This was a really satisfying project to work through from start to finish.

The client brought in three wall panels that were all attached on one long roll. We laid the entire piece out across our modular design tables so we could see everything at once, then carefully separated the panels and decided where to crop each one to achieve the best design for her space.

Once everything was set, each panel was framed in a modern narrow gold scoop frame—simple, clean, and just enough detail to complement the artwork without taking over.

They’ll be installed side by side in her dining room, and it’s one of those displays that’s going to completely transform the space.

Today was installation day for this impressive custom framing project.

A few weeks ago, a client brought us a large Indian textile that required archival mounting and framing. After carefully pinning and hand sewing the fabric into place, we completed the piece at an impressive finished size of 88" × 81".

Today, we delivered and installed it in the client's home, where it now serves as a stunning focal point. The 4" wide gold frame with subtle black veining beautifully complements the textile and it's protected with plexiglass with an air barrier.

There's something especially rewarding about seeing a project move from our workshop to its final destination. Watching a piece of this scale transform a room reminds us why we love what we do.

From design to fabrication to delivery and installation, we're proud to help our clients display the pieces that matter most.

This large Indian textile came to us for archival mounting and framing, measuring an impressive 88" × 81" when finished. Projects of this scale require the right workspace and a thoughtful approach at every stage, from design and mounting to fabrication and installation.

We used a combination of pinning and hand sewing techniques to securely support it without adhesives touching the textile itself. The piece is framed in a striking 4" wide gold moulding with subtle black veining, creating a bold presence while complementing the rich character of the fabric. Plexiglass is held away from the textile to prevent contact and allow the piece to be displayed safely for years to come.

The final result is a true statement piece, and we'll be delivering and installing it in the client's home so it can be enjoyed exactly as intended.

We recently framed a beautiful Marc Chagall lithograph, *Ulysse et Eumée*, with a design chosen to complement the artwork's color palette and delicate details.

The piece features a triple mat: a cream 8-ply top mat with a wide bevel, a subtle sliver of spring green beneath, and a deep teal mat closest to the artwork. Together, the layers create depth while drawing out colors already present in the lithograph.

The frame is a warm silver wood moulding with an elegant dotted pattern that adds just the right amount of sophistication without overpowering the art. Finished with Museum Glass for exceptional clarity and UV protection.

When framing fine art, every design choice should support the artwork—and this combination came together beautifully.

Talk about a great souvenir from a memorable day at the races! 🏇

We recently framed two program covers from this year's Kentucky Derby, creating a design that feels elegant, timeless, and just a little bit Southern.

The covers were matted with a soft tan silk top mat and a subtle lavender accent mat beneath—colors that complemented the artwork beautifully without competing for attention. A rustic frame added warmth and character, while Museum Glass provides exceptional clarity and UV protection.

A wonderful way to preserve memories from an unforgettable event.

Many people know us for custom framing, but once they step into the Studio, they quickly realize we offer much more than that. From printing and image restoration to sports memorabilia, needle art, custom mirrors, custom nameplate engraving, and oversized specialty projects, much of what we do happens right here under one roof.

A couple weeks ago, we shared these two original artworks with frame and mat corner samples before framing—a watercolor on paper and an acrylic on paper. Now they’re finished and ready to go home!

Every artwork has its own personality, which is why thoughtful frame and mat selection matters so much. Our goal is always to enhance the artwork itself while creating a design that feels right for the client and their space.

From subtle matting choices to the perfect frame finish, it all came together beautifully for these two originals.

We framed a beautiful relief on paper using a float mount that allows the deckled edges of the artwork to remain fully visible.

The piece was mounted onto a neutral tan silk mat, creating a soft contrast against the white paper while keeping the focus on the texture and detail of the artwork itself. Box strips were used to hold the glass away from the art, giving the piece the air barrier it needs for proper preservation.

Finished with “amazing clarity” anti-glare UV-filtering Museum Glass.

Not every framing project fits neatly on a table—and that’s exactly why our design space is built to adapt.

A client recently brought us a long roll containing three wallpaper panels still attached to one another. To safely open and evaluate the artwork, we arranged our design tables end to end so we could fully unroll the piece and carefully separate the panels.

Then we reconfigured the tables side by side to view the panels together from left to right, helping determine the best placement and where to trim the top and bottom for the perfect finished height.

These custom-framed panels will eventually hang together on her dining room wall as one cohesive installation.

One detail we especially appreciate? Our large design tables are on wheels, allowing us to safely handle and design unusual oversized projects like this with flexibility and care.
