Here’s a quick follow-up with more detail on the camera setup. We were testing a new crab snare we’re bringing into the shop, but since everyone kept asking about the camera, I pulled the footage that shows how the underwater rig actually works.

A customer in New Jersey ordered two Phoenix XG4T striper rods… which meant I spent my Tuesday wrestling with an 8-foot shipping tube 😂

If you go even ½ inch over 96 inches, UPS jumps from $84 to $284 — so precision matters.
Wrapped, padded, packed, and ready for the journey east.

But the best part of today?
👉 The team absolutely crushed the reel shack reset.
Freshly displayed reels, organized cubbies, everything priced and looking sharp.

Dissapointing Monday to say the least :( I found 15 reels worth a couple thousand dollars sitting in boxes behind the counter… not on display. For weeks or even months. Ughhh. That’s inventory customers never even knew we had.

No blame — just a reminder that in retail, if the process breaks, you feel it fast.
Lights didn’t get changed, Reel Shack didn’t get fixed… Monday won.

Tomorrow we reset.
