Hi friends! I found this extra cute textured fabric, but there was only a small amount left. So, I was able to only make 15 mini capybaras. 😱 I’ve listed them on my website for sale, and newsletter subscribers got a head start on ordering these, so there’s only 9 left! You get to choose the background color for the plaque, too!

I will be looking for another fabric for capybaras, but if you or someone in your life is obsessed, and you want a cute gift for them soon, now is the time! These will definitely sell out at Winter Festival if not before then.

Sending out this fun and fancy size four zebra today! I love the yellow background the customer chose. Definitely going to keep this color combo in mind as I make inventory for upcoming markets. ⭐️🦓

Brand New Fluff Stuff! I’ll be at in Union Square tomorrow near .market right next to and

I’ll have a handful of these handmade plush Fluff Jar Ornaments and some Fluffalo Faux Taxidermy along with the regular lineup of adorable wall friends. If you’re headed to the festival on Saturday, stop by and say hi!

New: Illustrated pet portraits! I’m still making just as much faux taxidermy these days, but if you’ve been following along for a while you know that I’ve also been developing my illustration skills for the last few years. And now, I’m excited to add something new to the Zooguu shop!

You can now get an original piece of art on watercolor paper, done in highlighter and colored pencil. I’m offering a few options in terms of sizes and poses. You can find these in the “original art” section of the zooguu shop (link in profile).

I gave the Zooguu Newsletter subscribers a head start on this and I’ve been thrilled with the response so far! The best part is that my inbox is now full of adorable animals to draw! 😊 There are a few slots left in this round, so if you’d like one soon, now is the time.

And even better? 50% is going to help support another creative person who is launching a project that will bring much needed joy to their community. The first project I’m choosing is a new bookshop that is opening in Atlanta! Breanna McDaniel is an award winning author who is opening her dream bookshop: Impossible Moon Books! Check out her go fund me if you want to learn more!

If this round of pet portraits goes well, I’ll offer another round in October to benefit the Illustration Institute in Portland, Maine.

I can’t wait to draw your pets! Oh, and if you don’t have a pet, you can get one for a friend or even just commission your favorite animal(s). If I were getting one, I’d get my dream pet: a blue triceratops! 😉
