We opened Jack Backers College Bookstore in June 2008 with two goals in mind: offering quality, low-priced textbooks and providing superior customer service. As parents ourselves, we understand the burden of financing college, and we work hard to make your dollar stretch further. We don’t have high overhead expenses like the big bookstore chains, allowing us to operate leaner and more efficiently
. We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of customer service. Today’s marketplace offers more textbook choices than ever before, such as buying, renting and e-books. You can count on us to answer your questions and help you decide what option best fits your specific needs. We proudly offer a large selection of officially licensed SFA clothing and gifts, including brands such as Nike, Hurley, Under Armour and Columbia. A large part of our inventory is produced locally, providing employment opportunities for current SFA students and alumni. As SFA’s only alumni owned bookstore, we are committed to supporting the university and its students.
