What a wonderful first lesson in our new Tiles & Tides space!

While this was my first class in our location, teaching is not new to me. With a background in higher education, I have always loved helping people learn, build confidence, and connect and having mahjong students makes it even more special.

This group of ladies was an absolute joy to teach. They brought great energy, supported one another, shared plenty of laughs, and made the entire evening so much fun.

Congratulations to our winners!

One of my favorite moments was watching a family play together and then the best part came at the end of the lesson, when phone numbers were exchanged and plans were made to attend Mahjong 102 and Guided Open Play together. That is exactly what I hoped Tiles & Tides would become… a place where people can learn, play, and form new friendships.

Thank you, ladies, for trusting me to be part of your mahjong journey and for making our first lesson in the new space so memorable. I am incredibly grateful for each of you and cannot wait to welcome you back for the next chapter.
