In the biblical account of Judges 7, Giddeon started with a military force of 32,000 but God instructed those that were fearful of battle were free to leave. When those men voluntarily left only 10,000 remained. God said this was still too many men and proposed a 2nd test.

God instructs Gideon to select warriors based on how they drink water down at the river, so Gideon sends 10,000 men down to the water to drink.

Only 300 men lapped the water in the manner resembling dogs, with their eyes focused on the horizon and spear in hand, and 10,000 knelt down to drink the water cupping their hands like bowls to drink the water.

Which men did God advise Gideon to send home, and which men did Gideon fight the Midianites with? God wanted no question or excuses why Israel won the battle by overwhelming the enemy by sheer numbers. He wanted to send a message.

Who is familiar with Vortex Optics? I was a fanboy of Trijicon and EoTech until I started buying the holographic Vortex optics. WOW is all i have to say. i will provide some reviews and videos shooting with them at my range here shortly. Plus they back their warranty supposedly. Same reason why I buy DeadAir suppressors. Any company standing by a warranty as strongly as them, that should tell you something. This statement from Vortex says it all. Anyone standing by a warranty like this has my respect for life.

GE Aerospace Muskegon’s Veteran Network in partnership with the Grand Rapids GE Aerospace Veterans Network, will be hosting a large veterans resource fair on June 20th and 21st, at the Heritage Landing along Muskegon Lake right along the water front. All veterans and their families, loved ones, and friends are encouraged to attend. If you know a veteran please pass this information on. There will be resources relating to healthcare, alternative medicine , veteran resource groups, veteran organizations, veteran owned entrepreneurs and business owners, veteran owned food trucks, military displays and 6 different STEM stations for children to participate in.

There will be a large drone show that will be on display. Gold Star family members that built these drones will be putting on one of the largest drone shows. We’re also working on getting a Chinook Helicopter static display among many other cool and interesting military and veteran related articles.

If you are a veteran owned business in the west michigan area please PM Garth Dalson, and I will email you paperwork so you can register to have a table set up to promote your business. There is an estimated 10,000 people to attend this event each day, so your business will get a lot of exposure.

1) Kids of all ages will have dozens of stem activities to keep them busy all day.

2) Veterans seeking different types of therapy for whatever will get the chance to speak to different groups that can provided unconventional types of treatment options.

3) There will also be resources from the Department of Veterans Affairs on site to ensure any veterans seeking conventional health resources and benefits will have the chance to get important information needed for whatever roadblocks have prevented them from seeking care in the past.

4) Veteran Service Organizations will be on site providing information to veterans interested in joining various veterans groups and/ organizations.

We will have dozens of food trucks that are all veteran owned. We will have numerous businesses that are also owned by veterans to not only promote their businesses and services, but also looking for veterans to hire.

So spread the word and bring the family. This event is meant to break down barrriers that have previously plaqued the veteran communities due to red tape making it hard for veterans to get the care and support they need. It is also going to be a great opportunity for veterans in the west michigan area to network with one another, and bring our families together.

Let’s talk about shooting ranges today! How many of you know of a shooting range where you can shoot at targets out to 300 meters?

How many of you have every shot at a US Army or Marine Rifle Qualification range? For example, when the target goes up anywhere between 25m (one time only this target exposes itself for 2.5 seconds) and 300 meters. Most of the time there are 2 targets exposing themselves behind a been between 100-300 meters. These targets are staggered meaning a 300m target exposes himself behind a berm and at the same time a 100 meter exposes his half silhouette. You get approximately 3 seconds to PID the target and shoot both targets. Once you shoot the target it goes down and for every hit and target dropped you are given a score.

38-40 is expert, anything below that is sharpshooter, marksmanship, or fail. When’s the last time anyone in the civilian world has had the chance to see if they can score 40/40 on a range that makes you transition between shots, not a pc if motionless piece of paper?

We’re currently looking for approximately anywhere between 100-250 acres of lovely conservative zoning rules with no homes in/around the vicinity of this range. My gunner in Iraq and myself are in the beginning stages of designing the range that will also second as a police qualification and training center with live shoot houses,MOUT training environments , moving targets from right to left and left to right, stopping in behind cover.

We also plan on training civilians with hunters safety, firearm safety, basic rules of fi****ms including the golden rule of fi****ms, CPL licensure, basic and advanced home safety and protection courses using live scenario drills that will be sure to leaving you more safe at home at night.

We plan on making this a members club open to the public. That can use any of our intended 12 different ranges. We will have league nights for trap s***t long distance shooting , reflexive fire shooting, PID shooting exercises, OK corral shooting only at the bad guy targets, qualification ranges for shotgun, rifle, handgun, and many many more.

We will also be offering a refuge for those in the veteran community with a member only clubhouse and a veterans clubhouse with games, sports, movies, TV, food and snacks, etc. Many veterans like myself have lost touch with many of my barrow buddies with the exception of a few- and dozens have lost their lives may they all rest im peace. I am hoping to get this project started asap.

There is only one large issue, or two large issues. #1 funding in the form of crowdfunding #2 funding in the form of donations #3 funding in the form of grants #4- #100 funding funding funding. Of course I am s**tty at asking for help especially with money so tight these days not just for my own family but the rest of our beautiful American families.

"A violent felon can buy a gun over the internet with no background check, no questions asked," Obama delcared. What most unsurprising is the liberal "face-checking" website Politifact call the statement "Mostly True". How did they arrive at such a ridiculous finding?

"Some readers seemed to think Obama was suggesting such transactions were legal. We do not see that in Obama's commnents (The grammarians at Politifact would note that Obama said "CAN", "not", "may"). TO BE CLEAR SUCH A TRANSACTION WOULD BE ILLEGAL. What Obama said is that such transactions are "possible."

DO YOU SEE HOW THEY USE SEMANTICS TO COVER OBAMA'S OBVIOUS LIE. Immediately Americans that are smarter thn the average anti-second Amendment liberals understood that it was not possible to purchse a firearm online without passing a backgroud check. Here is how it works, there are no loop holes, its not dangerous, and there no way to cheat the system despite the scare tactics from the liberals (the same liberals who claim republicans are coming to remove social security & health insurnace every election LOL).

#1 You buy a firearm and pay for it.
#2 The store owner needs to know the name of the FFL licensed gun store the customer wants the purchased firearm shipped to.
#3 The store owner will make cdontact to the FFL dealer and ask for an updare Federal Firearm License (FFL). Once the original store owner has the FLL, they will go to the ATF/ FBI website and verify that the license informartion is correct, up-to-date and valid.
#4 The store that had the firearm preps for shipment and asks for a tracking number and signature, it must go in next day or two day air, so its secure the entire trip to the secondary gun store.
#5 Once the second gun store receives the purchase firearm, they will call the original customer to come in (in person) and fill out a background information form known as form 4473. The customer also presents their drivers license to verify they are the one who's name is on the 4473.
#6 The store where the gun was shipped to from the originl Fedeal Fiream Licensed dealer will review the physical FFL license (copy of the FFL) from the original store that was packed in the original package that was shipped with the purchased firearm & verify it is also a legit & an up- to- date FFL by cross referencing it through the FBI.
#7 Once the store the customer filled out the 4473 background paperwork form at in person completes th 4473 backgroud informatino paperwork, the store owner runs it through the FBI NICS database.
#8 Once the customer submits the 4473 and the second store owner submits the paperwork, it becomes a waiting game for the FBI results to come back.
#9 If transaction is approved then depending on if its. hadgun or long-gun it will reqyire more paperwork. If its a pistol then anoher for is filled outk so it can be handed into the location law enforcement agency where the purschaser lives, so it is on file (ie) serial number, custmers name, address, type of firearm and description of firearm, and most importantly the FBI NICS approval number attached to the form.

So, like i said before, Obama lied just like most democrats do when it omes to purchasing fi****ms online= the process is the same as it would be if a customer purchsed inside of a store, A background check is stil required by a licensed Federal Firearm Licensed Dealer.

So, has anyone out there in the great state of Michigan been to any quality shooting ranges? We hve been changing our business structure at the moment due to the current climate and anti second amendment Democrats in congress and ATF over stepping its boundaries and responsibilities by creating new laws, when it infact their only job and duty is to enforce the laws set forth by ELECTED politicians also known as Congress. Last time I checked the head of thr ATF was not a member of conrgess, but not that this is surprising. ALSO, LAST TIME I CHECKED US GUN LOVING AMERICANS ALSO ELECT CONGRESS, WE DONT ELECT THE ATF. So, ATF STOP MAKING UP LAWs RULES and POLICIES THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LAW OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS CREATED- you know the same electred officials that YOU HAVE TO ANSWER TO!!

Who lives in California? I am sorry but you get what you vote for. If you don’t believe in the laws your state government is passing the go vote with your feet like conservative New Yorkers, Chicagoans, and other Californians are doing— by moving to a Republican ran state like Texas or Florida. All of these liberal s**tholes have lost more people than any other city and / or states because people can’t stand the high crime , high taxes, high homelessness, high drug activity, violent crime, failing school systems, stricter laws passed every day, lenient prosecutors who don’t enforce bail and inflict the minimum sentences so repeat offenders get out and commit the same crimes. The list goes on and on and on, and you get to pay more for a dictator-esk state or local government.
