Landcruiser 40 Quadtrack update.

102 bushings replaced by 102 bearings.
The kit called for a 48oz/in servo. We replaced it with a traxxas servo rated at 236 oz/in servo. The kit came with a basic brushed esc and motor. we replaced that with a Hobbywing 1800kv brushless motor esc combo. When it came to painting the body, we wanted a "box art" style paint job, we let you decide. Traxxas brilliantly and white were the color of choice. We cleaned the body with mild soap and a scrubbing to remove any mold release agents. Taped the body off to keep the colors separate and sprayed. The result is a box art style paint job to complete the model and add a bit of color to this beautiful Tamiya build. We hope you enjoyed the build as much as we did. Build update!

It has been a little bit since we have posted anything actual update on the build. Well, we had to wait for upgraded parts to come in. They came in this week and here is the update you've been looking for! Track rollers are now 100% built and complete. Sprocket covers are also built and installed. Starting to actually look like what's on the box now!

We would like to ask for your help.
When we started this build, we were basically going to keep it box art. Now, as we near the end of this build, we decided to let you choose!

We have chosen 5 color combinations. Each picture is labeled with a number, 1,2,3,4 & 5. I tried my best to get a good picture of what the color should look like (the sun was my enemy today). Comment what color combo you would like to see us paint this project. The color with the most votes gets sprayed! Voting starts now!
