Thank you for stopping by! Good neighbor is here to help needy people curve the expense of setting up residence. The idea was to help people moving into a new residence with essentials. So I accept donations from people such as left over yard sales to give to others. I do this as a FREE service to my community. I do not charge recipients for any items they get. I do not monitor them or require anything from them other than to pick up the items they want at designated times. It is on a first come, first served basis. I OCCASIONALLY will hold an item for someone under some circumstances. But not as a rule. I try to have anything that sets up house ... such as; furniture, kitchen items (for cooking, serving and storing food and small kitchen appliances), bath items (towels, rugs, shower curtain and rod shelving, etc...), linens, curtains, bedding, cleaning items (mops, brooms, vacuums and etc...) home decor items (pictures and lamps etc...) I also accept clothing.
What I do NOT have is food, diapers, wipes, paper goods, cleaning chemicals or large appliances. This does not mean I will not occasionally have these items, it means that I do not actively try to carry these items. I am ONE WOMAN with one SUV and one trailer. I basically do this by myself and cannot lift big furniture or appliances. I am also limited for space because I am currently working out of my carport. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. I serve about a 35 mile radius of Muscle Shoals. GOD BLESS!
