BigKatBait wants to wish all the anglers good luck and safe fishing at the Winter Blues on Wheeler tournament today!!! We especially want to wish Carter Thompson good luck on his quest for a 70 lb fish, he has been trying hard all week and had some good ones but we hope he can bring big fish of the tournament to the scales today, GO GET UM, Carter!!!!

We wanted to let everyone know we are at that point in the season where bait is slowing down and we are booked with orders. At this time we are not taking any new commitments as we need to make sure we take care of all of our existing orders before the season ends.

We will still be delivering to all of our bait stores who have monthly commitments thru October and will be keeping Bass N More stocked for the Monsters on the Ohio with fresh frozen bait for everyone for the tournament.

We would like to thank everyone for another successful season ! We all at Big Kat Bait look forward to seeing everyone again next spring !

Catching up on some pictures that have been sent in to us . Eric Parise from North Carolina sent us these pics in March along with some info on his night out fishing .Sounds like you guys had a great night on the water . Thank you for the business and just call us when your ready for the next ones!

We ended up catching 27 blues Thursday night. The water was the muddiest that I had ever seen and it was 30 degrees, with a water temp of 50 degrees so I wasn’t sure what we would catch,if anything.They went crazy over the skipjack! The biggest was 60 lbs and the rest averaged between 25 and 40 with a few under 20.What an awesome night! We did release all the big ones back to catch another day. Thanks for the great bait, it really makes all the difference!!
