The RUN FOR A MILLION brings out a competitive spirit like nothing else. For me, it starts a year in advance. Thinking about it. Preparing for it. Building toward that one night when everything has to come together perfectly.

This year, I knew I had two horses capable of winning it.
And that’s the art of competition. You can bring your best horse, make your best preparation, have years of experience behind you and still come up short of the title. At this level, every detail it is critical. Every decision is critical. And the team behind you makes a huge difference.

This year, my partner ALPHA VIKING and I finished third and earned $85,000. I’m very appreciative of that horse, proud of our run and thankful of my team and owners that got us there. Today, I’m already thinking about what it’s going to take in 2027!!!

Congratulations to Kole Price and GOLDEN COINS. You laid down an incredible run and earned every bit of that 237.5. That’s what this sport is about!!!

I’ve spent my entire career around horses, and one thing I know for sure, you never get to the point where you know enough. You compete. You learn. You get better. And you come back better!!!

🏆 There’s a new highest score in NRHA history — Kole Price Performance Horses and 2020 stallion Golden Coins, the Stallion (Spooks Gotta Gun x Electric Cha Cing), owned by Coin Toss LLC and bred by Silver Spurs Equine, scored a 237.5 to win The Run For A Million and a hefty $500,000. The scores across the board tonight in Vegas were nothing short of impressive, with the top five all above 230.
