Welcome to Silent Book Club Murfreesboro!

SBC Murfreesboro is a book club in Murfreesboro, TN. One of your hosts, Saige, started this chapter in August of 2023, and we have since added two additional hosts, Lindsey and Kaitlyn! We are registered as an active chapter on the Silent Book Club website.

Silent Book Club was started in San Fransisco in 2012 by Guinevere de la Mare and Laura Gluhanich, and has since grown into a global organization, with chapters started all over the world.

The goal of SBC Murfreesboro is to provide a time and space for everyone to carve a little time out of their day to read. We have busy lives, and sometimes it’s hard to find a quiet spot or time to read. Fear not in these times, for you can count on SBC Murfreesboro to provide that for you!

SBC Murfreesboro partners up with local coffee shop to bring you at least two nights a month of dedicated time and space to reading your current book.

There is no membership for SBC Murfreesboro. You can come as often or as little as you like. Whatever fits your schedule! EVERYONE is welcome at book club!

TO RSVP FOR BOOK CLUB MEETS: create an account on Bookclubs (link in bio to join) and you can RSVP ANYTIME leading up to right before the event starts. You can change your reservation anytime.

This post includes all of the basic information you’d need to know about book club. There is a post the week before every meet that includes more details for the specific meets and a post the day of the meets. Majority of the time, we just meet and read, but sometimes we have fun themed events around the holidays, and we have a book swap TWICE a year. All completely optional to participate in!
