The Maple Island Thrift Shop came about because a small group of caring residents wanted to make a difference in their community. Dedicated volunteers renovated the original building and today awe have two floors to display all the donated merchandise. Your donations of new or gently used clothing, small furniture, household go

ods and books has ensured the success of the store, where we turn your donations into funding for our community. Drop in to browse, shop or to drop off your donations ... all donations and purchases are greatly appreciated!

Get ready for another Maple Island Thrift Shop $5.00 bag sale (upstairs items only) weekend. Don’t worry about bringing bags,we supply them. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 17th,18th and 19th. We are open each day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

July 16, 2026: The fire rating is currently HIGH. Fires with a fire permit for cooking and socializing permitted after 6:00 PM and to be extinguished before 6:00 AM.

The Whitestone Recreation Committee's Annual Summer Market is scheduled for Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Support local vendors, crafters, and businesses. Everyone welcome!

Who doesn't love a raffle?! We've got a good one for you at the Dunchurch Fall Fair this year! We'll be selling tickets on the grounds for two great prizes:

1st draw: a Vermont Castings 1080 sq. in. pellet BBQ grill (retail value $999)
2nd draw: a Yeti Tundra 45 hard cooler (retail value $425, in Big Sky Blue)

Tickets are $5 each, with only 750 tickets being sold. We'll draw a winner at 3pm on Saturday, August 22!

Archery at the Dun Dome runs on Saturdays throughout July and August at the Dun Dome from 10:00 AM until noon. Free to attend, drop-ins welcome. There is no archery during the weekend of the Dunchurch Fall Fair.

All participants must sign a waiver and children must be attended by an adult.

Offered by the Whitestone Recreation Committee in partnership with the Whitestone Public Library & Technology Centre.
