This is very bittersweet.

We have books, journals, plants, and even furniture so come check it all out. Furniture can be purchased today and picked up through Wednesday.

Your last chance to stop in before we downsize is this Wednesday thru Saturday 12pm - 5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm!

There are lots of books on shelf, journals and more, plus we still have some furniture and plants that need to go before the end of the month.

I’m really going to miss my little bookshop 💛

I loved having a pot of fresh coffee on for anyone who came in. I loved curating it all- from every single title on shelf to the journals, pens, caramels and everything in between. I loved having a place for you to come sit, read, chat (about books, life, Jesus, politics, recipes), or for you to just sit in peace. I wanted to create a space that felt like you were stopping at a friend’s house.

I made so many new ones through the store and will sincerely miss seeing all the friendly faces. While this chapter is coming to an end, I am so thankful I had the shop for 2 years.

Hi Everyone! You might have seen my local posts about furniture for sale in the store. I will continually update this list as items sell.

Here is an UPDATED LIST of what’s available:

- Vintage American Drew solid wood dining table + 2 leaves + 6 chairs. (my dad was original owner) Dec 1970 mid century modern: $500

- Vintage American Drew solid wood sideboard (my dad was original owner). Dec 1970: $500

- Bench with upholstered seat: $40

- Smaller items for sale: baskets, small ironstone dishes, book holders, house plants.

**All items are in perfect or near perfect condition, well cared for and smoke + pet free.

We have some pretty *big* news to share…

After two years on Main Street, we are taking the shop M O B I L E! 🚌

Yes, that’s right! Brainstorm Books will be pivoting from a physical location to a mobile bookshop starting in May!

Our last day open on Main Street will likely be April 27. After that, you will be able to find us at pop up locations around southern NJ, which we will absolutely share with you all!

You will still be able to support us online and our book club will still meet 📚💛 And of course, we hope to see you at one of our pop up locations!
