We are thrilled to announce that the talented voice teacher, Bryanna Vancaster will be joining our team at The Music Cafe! Bryanna earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. She is certified in WI Early Childhood through Adolescence (K-12) in Art. She has worked in the academic setting since 2012. She has an impressive resume of experience working in musical theater since 2013, and has been giving private voice lessons for 15 years in Milwaukee. She loves helping students achieve their personal goals, which might include audition prep, theater, musical theater, acting through song, and of course all of the training required in helping students thrive. She teaches proper breath support, mouth placement, various vocal techniques and styles, all while building self confidence! Please join us in welcoming wonderful string and piano teacher, Dawn Soeth to The Music Cafe! Dawn fell in love with playing violin as a child in Illinois. When she moved to WI as a young teen, she joined MYSO, and has been performing ever since. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Music Studies from UW Parkside, then went on to teach for the orchestra program in Burlington, WI, 4th through 12th for over 30 fulfilling years. She earned her Masters in Music Education from UW Whitewater, is a certified Suzuki Method teacher from UW Stevens Point. She has a deep love for classical music, but also performed for over 20 years, playing fiddle for a country band. She has been performing her entire adult life at all kinds of events and venues, including the Racine Symphony Orchestra and the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra. She finds fulfillment in sharing her knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with students, believing that just one person's vision can make a difference in a student's life. Our survey of 800+ music teachers found they spend an average of $795 out of pocket each year to support their programs. Our instrument donations help fill school music program budget gaps so teachers don’t have to. 💛
