I not only witnessed Keith Mattison catch this fish, it was on Champ 2.0.

And…….

Keith trusted me to paint it.

I think we were as excited as, Jason Cookie Cook, and Keith as we watched Cookie eased up to this fish and Keith laid the hammer on this absolutely gigantic crappie.

Keith and his wife, Margret, drove over from Ohio to pick up his fish. I witnessed some of the same excitement from Keith as he saw his replica in person for the first time.

My buddy Mark Hogan is a true artist. Stop by his house and picked up my replica of the 3.46 Ibs crappie I got at Sardis lake this past December. When I saw it it was just like the day I caught it. Like a giggly jr high girl. He's not in this business but he should be.
