Can you believe it's already time for our annual tent sale here in Crestline? This is one of our favorite weeks of the year, and we can't wait to see everyone out shopping the deals.

Here's a little insider tip for our Snoozy's friends: while the sale is officially set to start Saturday, we always open a day early on Friday. It's not exactly a secret anymore, but we like to let our regulars in on it — first pick of the sale, before the crowds arrive Saturday morning.

Good news for anyone who's been waiting — the new Scout patterns we ordered months ago have finally arrived at Snoozy's Kids! We're already on our second and third reorder because these prints are just that good, and they cover everything from lunchboxes to pencil cases.

Whether you're getting the kids ready for the first day back or just need a little something fun for yourself, these are a great pick. We do have more coming in soon, but our favorite patterns tend to sell out quickly, so we'd love for you to come see them in person while they're here.

We love getting toy recommendations straight from the source, so this week we asked a 6-year-old to walk us through her favorites at Snoozy's Kids. Her first pick? A puzzle — chosen entirely because it's purple, and honestly, we can't argue with that logic. We love getting kid opinions on our shelves, and this week we brought in the best judge we know — a 10-year-old with very clear favorites. He walked us through a few of his top picks at Snoozy's Kids, starting with a Ronaldo LEGO set featuring a bicycle-kick build, then moving on to a Nerf football launcher you can pump up for serious distance, and finally a Nerf football that lights up when it lands and whistles through the air.

We're always having a good time at the shop, and today's race car sets from Carrera made it even better. Carrera is an English company we absolutely love, and their new sets just landed at Snoozy's Kids.

Our friend Bennett walked through the instructions to show how simple these are to set up — open the clamshell, pop in the batteries, and you're ready to race. It's the kind of easy, satisfying setup that gets kids playing fast, which is exactly what we love to see.

There's nothing quite like watching a kid light up in the Pokemon aisle. This week that kid was our friend Bennett, standing in his favorite spot in the whole shop.

Bennett told us about the time he got a pack of Pokemon cards as a gift, only to open it and find they were fake. Horrors! That's exactly why we make sure everything at Snoozy's Kids is genuine. We've even got some of the latest packs in stock, some so new Bennett hadn't seen them before — they're not even out everywhere in the world yet.

We're always on the hunt for the newest, coolest finds — and this one might take the cake. Meet Mirumi, a tiny robot straight from Japan that clips onto a purse, backpack, or tote and reacts to sound as she follows right along with you.

She's brand new to the shop, and because supply is so limited, we made sure to get her in early. If you've got someone in your life who loves anything cute, quirky, and a little bit techy, Mirumi is going to be a hit.

We had a very special visitor at the shop this week — a Jellycat rep stopped by to fluff, fix, and make our display look just so (the English way, naturally). As proud members of the Jellycat society, we couldn't be more excited to share two of our current favorites.

Bennett's pick is a hit because, as he'll tell you, not every store carries Jellycat — but Snoozy's Kids does. And George is completely smitten with the Woodland Floor critter, muddy leaves and all. That face gets us every time.

We have two new introductions we're so excited to share! First is Mistral, a beautiful French soap and lotion line with the sweetest detail, tiny flowers tucked into the back of each bottle. The scents are lovely and the packaging is even lovelier.

Then we're going a little more international with our new Australian candles, debuting in the States for the very first time, right here at george. They come in a few sizes (we're especially loving the white), and after testing every fragrance ourselves, we can honestly say this might be one of the best candle lines we've found.
