Code 4 Defense is excited to announce we are looking to hire an additional member to our manufacturing team!
Code 4 Defense is an online Kydex holster business based out of Mount Vernon, Iowa. Founded by active duty police officers, we manufacture Kydex (vacuum-pressed plastic) holsters to serve the needs of military, law enforcement, and firearm enthusiasts alike.
The ideal team member would be able to work 30-40 hours a week. An orientation period lasting 6-8 weeks is required, but once orientation is completed scheduling is EXTREMELY flexible! Starting pay is $12.00/hour but will increase to $14.00/hour once orientation is completed.
The applicant must be organized and teachable and because all items are custom made to order, time management and attention to fine details is a must.
As we work exclusively with plastics, shop conditions include large amounts of fine-particulate plastic dust and loud noise. Therefore applicants must be comfortable wearing a respirator mask and ear plugs (supplied) for extended periods of time.
Dress is casual -- jeans are recommended and closed-toed shoes are required.
Applicants should be comfortable working with a variety of power tools including but not limited to: cutting machinery, heat and vacuum presses, drill press, band saw, belt sander, and Dremel. Previous experience with any/all tools is not required but preferred. **For insurance liability purposes, applicants should be over the age of 18.**
