May is National Bike Month, but it’s also a lesser known but equally important holiday period, Shasta Shuttle Month! In any normal year, the trails are the best of the season right now, and friends from far and wide are getting together to enjoy the trails together and celebrate the end of winter.

Let’s face it, the bike market is flooded with fly-by-night e-bike manufacturers claiming to offer to you a great bike for an even better deal. The reality is that most of these bikes are made with cheap, low quality parts and when they inevitably break or don’t work properly, the manufacturer is nearly impossible to get ahold of.

Enter the Globe Haul ST.

As with everything, Specialized spared no expense working to develop an electric bike that checked all the boxes but didn’t break the bank. They apparently nailed it, earning Bike of the Year for 2023 from
