Do plants make you nervous? Do you ever look longingly at the beautiful plants while you're shopping, only to convince yourself that you'll just kill it like the last plant you had?
Poor luck in the past does not mean you are doomed to a plant-free life, you simply have not found the right plant for your lifestyle. I don't believe there is such thing as a 'Black Thumb', it's just a matter of identifying what kind of environment and care you can provide, and then matching it to a plant that suites you.
While that may seem intimidating, rest assured it is not very hard at all once you know the right questions to ask! Pick the spot where you would like to stick your plant and consider;
-How many hours of light does this spot get in a day?
-Does it get bright light or indirect light?
-How often am I willing to set aside a few minutes to water and maintain this plant?
If you have a bright sunny windowsill but you don't want to spend too much time pruning or maintaining your plant, consider a Cactus or a succulent style of plant. Do you have indirect light, and you're willing to check on/prune your plant every now and then, but nothing too high maintenance? Consider a vine style plant, like Ivy or Philodendron.
There is a plant to suite nearly every home and every care style, and I'm here to help you find it! Plants can be a very easy but satisfying hobby that anyone can participate it. It does not rely on special skills or physical strength, just your willingness to give a little love🌿
