April 21, 1973

On this day 50 years ago Deep Purple released the album “Made In Japan” in the United States. It had been released in the UK a few months prior. The album would peak at number six on the US Billboard chart and would obtain platnium status as well. It’s considered by many to be one of the greatest live albums of all time.
