Birds love Polish Pottery too! These gorgeous hotels for birds are absolutely stunning in your garden! Comes with a hanging hook and two wooden dowels for a perch (and one replacement).

As all of our pottery is oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer safe - our birdhouses are summer to winter safe! No fading in the sun and no staining! A drain hole in the bottom assists with cleaning!

Many ask - do birds nest in them? Yes!!! Absolutely! When hung in an inviting and safe environment for birds, they will absolutely nest in Polish Pottery!

Fall is Coming! And I am ready! Look at these gorgeous pieces! With school starting back and the calendar turning to August this weekend, I’m feeling ready to put summer behind us. Now we just need cooler temps to go with it.

Anyone else struggle with common sayings/idioms? Here are a few I often mess up. Some are true idioms and some are movie quotes… what ones do you get mixed up?

1. 6 in 1, half dozen in the other
(I have the hardest time with this one - I used to say “6 of one half dozen of another”….almost - or as the saying goes “close but no cigar “

2. “You’re killing me, Smalls” and “”Ask Jeeves”.
I still say “You’re killing me Jeeves”… 😂

3. Release the Kraken! - I keep saying “Release the Dragon” 🤷🏻‍♀️ - ***had to edit this because I still got it wrong - LOL

4. I couldn’t care less - often misquoted as “I could care less” which is the opposite of the intent behind this saying…😬

5. Cut the mustard - haha - I mean - yeah I often stop myself and wonder is it “cut the muster”? Because it’s so similar to cut the cheese and I definitely don’t wanna get those confused! 🤣

And for fun : here is a Polish Idiom:

Gdzie diabeł nie może, tam babę pośle

Translation: Where the devil can’t go, he sends a woman
Meaning: Women are resourceful and can get things done where others fail.
When to use: Use this saying when a woman succeeds in overcoming a challenge that others couldn’t handle.

I kind of like that one!!! 😉
