Our chocolate start in the soil, three generations of Santiana’s famly members work together, with cacao beans’ local Farmers, this Union locate in Los Rios- Ecuador provide the most wonderful and delicious Cocoa beans. From the farm to your table.
After the harvest the cacao (white wet beans) is fermented for 5 days under plantain leaves, with temperature control being maintained to prevent bio contamination, then dry by bright sun heat, later to be classified by hand to get the best results, shipped to USA, roasted, cracked, winnowing, grinding, refining, silk, and finally tempering our chocolates to have an explosion of flavors.

Our cacao beans are selected by hand in order to have the best of the best, hight quality, from the soil to finish in our chocolate bar and bonbons. Ecuador cacao plantations since early 1870-1920 was considered the boom of the Economy, the delicious cacao after fermentation give the unique taste in you palate.
