Looks like the spirit of the lakes parade will have our street closed until noon, so we will effectively be unable to open until Noon.

Adventure Loot Games will be closing our store on 7/31/24.
After exploring every option available to us, we can see no way to financially keep the store open.
The good news is that this allows us to close the store on our terms and allows us to reopen the store at some point in the future. The bad news is we have only two weeks to close the store, with no options to delay further.
I often joke that opening a game store in Mound was my “midlife crisis”, but this store has been my passion and joy for the last 3 years and the community we’ve built and people I’ve gotten to know has filled me with purpose and joy. I’ve never worked so hard to make so little and yet, never been so proud of the work I’ve done.
We will continue to update you with the store’s closing sale and working with our fellow game stores for the best places to bring your groups for the family friendly and positive play spaces we worked so hard to build.
Perhaps most of all I’ll miss the play space we made for our younger players, it is something I didn’t have in Mound growing up and was extremely proud to offer. I’m going to work locally to see if dedicated space can be established for gaming elsewhere in Mound.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who chose to buy local, support your game store, and made Adventure Loot Games the amazing place to hang out, that it is.
